Start an installation
Starting an installation in Fleeti Admin is a crucial step reserved for users with the role of a technician. This action is only possible for installations that are already configured. This article guides you through the process of starting an installation using the features of Fleeti Admin.
User access: FleetiSuperAdmin, FleetiAdmin, FleetiCustomerService, FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin, FleetiOperator, FleetiTechnician, FleetiTechnicianAdmin
Fleeti Admin offers two methods to start an installation:
Start from Installation View: Go to the installation view you want to start. In this view, you'll find a button "Start the installation". Click this button to initiate the starting process.
Start from the List of Installations: Navigate to the list of installations. Here, each installation is listed. Next to each list item, you'll find an option with the "Start" icon. Click this option to initiate the starting of the corresponding installation.
Access the Installation
Click on the "Start Installation" Button
Fill out the Form in the Modal Window: A form will appear in a modal window. You need to provide the following information:
- Customer: Required, can be changed.
- Asset: Required, can be changed.
- List of Technicians: Select the technicians who will work on the installation.
The user starting the installation is added by default to this list. Only technicians in this list can add a report to the installation.
Users with role other than Technician can be added to the list.

Confirm the Start of the Installation: Click "Start" to confirm the start.
After the installation has been successfully started, its status changes to "Ongoing". This indicates that the installation process is currently in progress.
It is essential to ensure that installations are accurately started by technicians, as this impacts the tracking and management of the installation.
