Delete an asset

In Fleeti Admin, deleting an asset is an important process that erases all associated data with the asset. This means that the asset will no longer be displayed in asset lists, and all information and links will be lost.

How to Delete an Asset



Access the Asset View
Start by accessing the view of the asset you want to delete in Fleeti Admin. Navigate to the asset using the appropriate search or selection method.

Click on "Delete"
Once in the asset view, click on the button to display actions related to the asset and select the "Delete" option to initiate the deletion process.

Confirm Deletion
A confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the asset. Confirm this action.

Impact of Deletion



- The asset will be permanently removed from the Fleeti Admin platform.
- All data associated with the asset will be erased and will no longer be recoverable.
- Gateways linked to the asset will be transferred to the warehouse account if the provider linked to the gateway is Fleeti Tracking. In this case, the gateway settings will be reset.
- If the phone operator is International, the SIM card will be suspended.
- If the asset was assigned to a user, it will no longer be visible in the user's asset list.

It is essential to be aware that deleting an asset is a definitive action and results in the complete loss of data. Make sure to think carefully before deleting an asset, as there is no way to recover the data once the deletion is done.
