Configure installation: The Accessories
Configuring accessories is a crucial step in the installation configuration process in Fleeti Admin. A precise configuration of these accessories is essential for the proper functioning of the system.
User access: FleetiSuperAdmin, FleetiAdmin, FleetiCustomerService, FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin, FleetiOperator, FleetiTechnician, FleetiTechnicianAdmin
The methods to configure accessories are the same:
Click on the configuration icon in the installation list.
Go to the installation view and click on the "Configure" button.
It is possible to configure two types of accessories: Bluetooth and Wired.
In the Bluetooth accessories section, you can add up to a maximum of 4 accessories for a gateway. Each accessory has the following fields:
- Accessory type
- Accessory name
- Accessory model
The model must be registered in the gateway model settings.
- Bluetooth number
- MAC address
- If the accessory type is "Fuel", the fuel type (digital or analog).
In the wired accessories section, you can add as many wired accessories as desired. To add another accessory, click on the "Add" button in the wired accessories section. Each accessory has the following fields:
- Accessory type
- Accessory model
The model must be registered in the gateway model settings.
- Accessory name
- If the accessory type is "Fuel", the fuel type (digital or analog).
Ensure that you fill in this information accurately to ensure the proper functioning of the accessories in your system.
Remember to update the gateway configuration on the manufacturer's platform (especially if you have Bluetooth accessories).
When the accessory type is one of the following, corresponding sensors are created in Fleeti Tracking:
- Temperature: Temperature sensor and humidity sensor
- Fuel capacity: Fuel sensor
- Door opening: Door sensor
- Angle movement: Angle sensor
- CAN: CAN sensors
This automatic creation of sensors is crucial for accurate and efficient tracking of accessory-related data. Be sure to configure your accessories properly to ensure optimal management.
