Bind accessories to a gateway

In Fleeti Admin, you have the ability to link accessories to a gateway. This action is crucial to associate accessories that are not displayed on the gateway card, so that their data can be presented on this card.

Please note that this action does not create the accessories on the platform. The accessories must already exist.

User access: FleetiSuperAdmin, FleetiAdmin, FleetiCustomerService, FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin, FleetiOperator, FleetiTechnician, FleetiTechnicianAdmin

How to Link Accessories to a Gateway

Access the Gateway View

Begin by accessing the view of the gateway to which you want to link accessories in Fleeti Admin.

Select "Link Accessories"

Click on the button to display actions related to the gateway, and choose the "Link Accessories" option.

Choose the Accessories to Link

A window will open, presenting you with the available accessories. You can select multiple accessories at once that you want to link to the gateway.

Confirm the Link

Once you have chosen the accessories, confirm your choice. The accessories are then linked to the gateway.

Please note that this action does not create the accessories on the platform. The accessories must already exist.

If you wish to install accessories on the gateway, we recommend doing so directly on Fleeti Tracking. Then, come back to Fleeti Admin to link the accessories. We are working on a feature that will allow you to simply install accessories, but for now, this option is not yet available.

With this function, you can efficiently link accessories to your gateway, thereby enriching the data presented on the gateway card. Stay tuned for upcoming improvements that will further streamline accessory management.
