Delete a replacement
The ability to delete a replacement in Fleeti Admin is an important aspect of operation management.
User Access: FleetiSuperAdmin, FleetiAdmin, FleetiCustomerService, FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin, FleetiOperator, FleetiTechnician, FleetiTechnicianAdmin
Replacements with the status "Verified", "Completed", or "Closed" are not eligible for deletion. This ensures that data related to finalized or verified operations remains intact and is retained for future reference.
Fleeti Admin offers two methods for deleting a replacement:
Delete from the replacement view: Access the view of the replacement you wish to delete. In this view, you will find a delete button, click on this button to initiate the deletion process.
Delete from the operations list: Go to the list of operations. Here, each operation is listed. Next to each list item, you will find a delete option. Click on this option to initiate the deletion of the corresponding replacement.

Confirm deletion: Enter the reason for deletion and click on the validation button to confirm the deletion.
It is essential to understand the impacts of deleting a replacement:
- The gateway is deleted on Fleeti Tracking, ensuring synchronization with equipment tracking.
- If the SIM card provider is International, the corresponding SIM card is deleted from the international provider.
- If the replacement is linked to an asset, the operation is removed from the asset's list of operations.
- The operation is permanently deleted from Fleeti Admin, ensuring accurate data updates.
It is therefore crucial to consider these impacts before confirming deletion.
