# Rename an asset group

You have the option to edit a group of assets. The group name and the group color (coming soon) can be edited.

### How to rename an asset group:

1. **Access the Client View**  
   Access the list of clients, find the client for which you want to create a group of assets, and click on the client.

2. **Access the Groups View**  
   Once the client details are displayed, click on the "Groups" tab.

3. **Rename a Group of Assets**  
   Click on the pencil-shaped button, rename the group, and click "Validate."

### Impact on the assets:
- This modification will not impact the assets in the group.
