What is a Confidential Customer

A confidential customer is a customer whose information is sensitive or who does not want others to be able to access information about the status or geolocation of their fleet without their approval.


Impact on the Customer List

The confidential customer appears in the customer list, but information about their fleet (active tags, inactive tags, etc.) is not displayed.


Who Can Access Information of a Confidential Customer

Only users of the customer itself and Fleeti users with Admin or Super admin roles can access information about confidential customers.


How to Manage Customer Service for a Confidential Customer

The customer service for a confidential customer is managed by the Country Manager of the country.


How to Change a Client's Privacy Settings

User access: FleetiSuperAdmin, FleetiAdmin, FleetiCustomerService, FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin, FleetiSales, FleetiOperator


To do this:

  • Navigate to the client view
  • Click on the Account tab
  • In the Privacy Management section, enable or disable the Confidential Client option
