# How to add an accessory on existing gateway

Fleeti Admin allows adding accessories to an already installed gateway

|| User access: **FleetiSuperAdmin**, **FleetiAdmin**, **FleetiCustomerService**, **FleetiCustomerServiceAdmin**, **FleetiOperator**, **FleetiTechnician**, **FleetiTechnicianAdmin**

||| However, it is recommended that the technician performs the accessory addition, as not all the roles mentioned above have access to the Navixy Panel and may not be aware of any additional configurations needed on the Navixy Panel for the accessories.

### How to add an accessory to an already installed Gateway

1. **Access the asset view**
Search for the asset to which the gateway is linked.

2. **Locate the gateways section**
In the asset view, find the section that displays the **gateways** associated with this asset.

3. **Select "Add an accessory"**
Click the button to display actions related to the **gateway** and choose the "Add an accessory" option.

4. **Adding the accessory**
Fill in the necessary information in the form based on the type of accessory you want to add to the gateway and click "Validate" to add the accessory.

5. **Configuration on the Navixy Panel**  
If additional configurations are required for the accessory, access the Navixy Panel and configure the accessory that was added from Fleeti Admin. An example of an accessory that requires additional configuration on the Navixy Panel is the fuel sensor.

|| After configuration, it is necessary to verify that the accessory is correctly transmitting data. If the data is not being transmitted correctly, submit a support ticket detailing the actions taken to ensure proper data transmission from the accessory. This will help improve the process.
