# Find an asset in Fleeti Admin: The complete Approach

Fleeti Admin provides a powerful asset search functionality, accessible in two main ways: through the customer view and the all assets view. These two perspectives offer specific filters to optimize asset searching according to your needs.

## Customer View

In the customer view, asset searching is streamlined with three key filters:

1. **Search:** You can search for an asset by entering relevant keywords such as the asset's name, description, serial number, license plate, gateway IMEI, gateway phone number, or gateway ID.

2. **Asset Type:** This filter allows you to select the specific type of asset you are looking for.

3. **Group:** You can refine your search by choosing a specific group to which the asset belongs.

### Result Columns

In this view, the following columns are displayed in the search results:

- **Asset Name**
- **Asset Group**
- **Gateways:** Tag of the gateway model with a color indicating the status:
    - Green for active
    - Yellow for inactive for less than 24 hours
    - Red for inactive for more than 24 hours
- **Number of Accessories**
- **Last Connection Date**

## All Assets View

In the all assets view, you have access to an extensive range of filters to refine your search as precisely as possible:

1. **Search:** Just like in the customer view, you can search for an asset using a search string that goes through the asset's name, description, serial number, license plate, gateway IMEI, gateway phone number, or gateway ID.

2. **Customer:** You can select a specific customer to display only assets related to that customer.

3. **Country:** You can filter assets based on the country they are associated with.

4. **Feature:** This filter allows you to specify a specific feature of the asset you are looking for.

5. **Asset Type:** You can select the specific type of asset you are looking for.

6. **Gateway Status:** You have the option to filter assets based on the gateway status.

7. **Group:** You can refine your search by choosing a specific group to which the asset belongs.

### Result Columns

In this view, the following columns are displayed in the search results:

- **Asset Name**
- **Asset Group**
- **Gateways:** Tag of the gateway model with a color indicating the status:
    - Green for active
    - Yellow for inactive for less than 24 hours
    - Red for inactive for more than 24 hours
- **Number of Accessories**
- **Last Connection Date**

|| Please note that the results are filtered based on the customers accessible in the countries associated with the user's session.

||| No assets are returned for confidential customers if the user role is not **Fleeti Super Admin**.

By using these filters in the customer view or the all assets view, you can precisely target the assets you need, facilitating the management and organization of your fleet.
