# Assign an asset to an asset group

In Fleeti Admin, you have the option to assign an asset to an existing group of assets.

### How to assign an asset to a group of assets:

__Method 1:__

1. **Access the Client View**  
   Access the list of clients, find the client to which the asset you want to assign belongs, and click on the client.

2. **Access the Groups View**  
   Once the client details are displayed, click on the "Groups" tab.

3. **Assign an asset**  
   Click the "Assign assets" button, choose the asset, and click "Validate."

__Method 2:__

1. **Access the Asset View**  
   Access the list of assets, and click on the asset you want to assign to a group of assets.

2. **Modify the Group**  
   Once in the asset view, click the button to display actions related to the asset and select the "Modify Group" option. Choose the group to which you want to assign the asset and click "Validate."
